WASHINGTON, PA, July 13, 2021 — With eliminations for the Delvin Miller Adios Pace for the Orchids set for July 24 and the final for July 31, the Meadows Standardbred Owners Association (MSOA) will kick off “Adios Season” Friday, July 16, with wiener dog races and a Family Fun Night featuring a variety of family-oriented activities.

The July 16 live racing card, which begins at the special time of 5 PM, will offer two heats for wiener dogs, with the top four finishers advancing to the final. Heat winners will receive goodie baskets from Discover Pet Health while the champion will earn an even bigger Discover Pet Health treasure chest as well as a blanket and a voucher.

Family Fun Night will include food trucks, face painting, a balloon artist and a stilting magician.

Other MSOA events for Adios Season include:

·      Wednesday July 28 — Charity Night at Parlay Lounge to benefit the Standardbred Transition Alliance. Tickets are $25 and include appetizers, a drink and a chance to win cash and other great auction prizes;

·      Friday July 30 — Family Fun Night II as well as MSOA Owners’ Night in the apron-level tent;

·      Saturday July 31 — For the second consecutive year, the MSOA will produce a livestream of the Adios final. Last year’s livestream reached an estimated 60,000 viewers. To help sponsors take maximum advantage of the large, involved audience, the MSOA has created three levels of sponsorship ranging from $250 to $5,000.
