The MSOA Board has approved an increase of the bonus paid to horses not earning a purse check in 10-horse fields from $100 to $200 beginning Friday, March 14.
The 10-horse fields have proven to increase handle substantially and the MSOA appreciates the participation of the entrants.
The current policy of paying these bonuses only if the race is contested with a 10-horse field will continue. The 10% purse increase on these races will also continue even if there are scratches.
