The Meadows Race Office has released the full list of horses that have been entered in the upcoming Spring Series races.
The first series to kick off will be the Donna Dunn Memorial for three- and four-year-old filly and mare pacers. A total of 20 horses have been made eligible to the event. The first leg will take place on Sunday, March 3.
On Tuesday, March 5, the Ken Weaver Memorial Series will begin, and 36 trotters have been paid into the series for male trotters, ages three and four.
Wednesday, March 6 will feature the first leg of the Mary Wohlmuth Memorial Series for trotters, with 36 filly and mare trotters, ages 3 and 4, entered in the series.
Finally, the 3- and 4-year-old pacing colts, geldings and stallions will begin their series, the Walter Russell Memorial, on Friday, March 8. A total of 27 horses were paid into the series.
Each series will feature two preliminary legs, and the finals will all be held on Friday, March 22.
A second round of series events, strictly for three-year-olds, will take place in April. The deadline for entries is March 15. Contact the Race Office for additional details.
