The Pennsylvania State Horse Racing Commission has approved The Meadows’ race schedule for 2023, containing 170 dates.
The Meadows will race three days a week (Wednesday through Friday) in January, February, and March, with a one-week break at the beginning of April. Racing will be held four days a week, Wednesday through Saturday, from April through mid-September, with a one-week break in September before three-day weeks begin again.
Post will be 12:45, with the exception of an earlier post on Triple Crown Saturdays and Adios Day. Friday post times from late May through early September will be 5:10, as it was this year, as part of an effort to grow live attendance for racing heading into weekends.
